Is there anything that you think that should be added?

Well not as of yet, we need to wait a bit of course. For the future is why I brought it up so you can think of the idea and some contest for it.

I was thinking about a battling server for my site as well once I get it back up and going. I think it's a great way for those who are unable to battle through their DS. For possible competitions in the future sites like GV and our affiliates can hold tournaments within their sites, and the site champions can go on to battle other site champions until there is a grand champion. It'll be a big project but a lot of fun and a way to get this site and other fellow pokemon sites friendly and well known to each other.

Do you like this or do you think it'll be a little too much work? This wouldn't be for anytime soon, but just once we get a good group of regularly posting members and a few really good affiliates that have a high active member count as well.

It's a great idea in my opinion. I like it.

Maybe SDX and I can get together tonight if we manage to get online at the same time and set up a server so we can start getting the members involved now (so we can have a Champion from GV of course!) but if she's up to it today.

I could probably disable rankings, but something competition is fun...but yeah.

Rankings should just be a way to show how much of a trusted member you are or how long you've been at GV.

Just leave custom title and that's it

And I don't get why people like that so much either, and I just realised I didn't add postcount rankings, but let's be 'original' and leave them out xD

Rankings would be ok, but not a big deal. I wouldn't go as far as award for high post counts in any way other than that, as people will spam for posts >.<.

I agree...generally I would have disabled post count for the Forum Games board, but forumotions doesn't have an option for that the last time I checked, so...

I agree with SDX on not getting a shoutbox right now, even sharing can be a hassle.
Even so, if we're talking about getting a domain or such, I'll see how much it is. Depending on the price, I'll probably get it.

I believe that if people are gonna spam to get more postcount, then we should just delete their posts and not just edit them, because that wouldn't solve anything.
But I also believe we should emphasize that postcount does not equal power, it just shows you're active, and it definitely shouldn't go to people's heads.

An Oekaki sounds fun, I have never used one, but roughly understand what it is, an online drawing board write? xD. How does it work is an actual drawing application or just a board to post images? I know its some sort of imageboard XD.

Anyhow, yea Forumotion does not have an option to stop the increase of post count. I had it on a really old forum I had on another host, but forumotion does not support it currently .
